Hi, my name is Pamela Koenen. Having been raised on a dairy and beef cattle farm, I have been around animals my entire life. I grew up riding horses - mainly Western, but have also ridden English hunt seat, roping and cutting horses. In 1988 I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.S. in Agricultural Education and earned a Master of Education in Agricultural Education in 2001. Since August 1991, I have been the agricultural education instructor and FFA advisor at Alden-Conger High School. Since 2008 I have been the coach of the school clay target team.
When I am not busy with FFA and trap shooting I enjoy crocheting, gardening and baking. I enjoy sharing my talents with others and teach community education classes in Albert Lea and Austin for adults and kids. I live on a small acreage with my husband and our black lab mix Maggie. We have 3 grown children and one grandson.
